Translations of Books from Arabic in Five East European Countries after 1989

The NextPage surveys on translations from five Eastern European countries are available. From the report:

In all of the five countries, with the notable exception of Serbia, the average number of titles translated from Arabic in the last decade is 0 to 3 titles per year. Given that in the same period the share of translations from all languages varies from 20 to 40 % of the overall publishing production in the five countries, these numbers are more than “negligible”.
